Consultants in Cardiology has been committed to providing comprehensive cardiovascular health care in the Fort Worth area for over 40 years. Today, the practice has grown from the one-man-practice begun by Dr. Robert S. Capper to 15 board certified cardiologists, including a specialized internal medicine physician and specialized physician assistants, and over 85 employees, of which 15 are registered nurses. All cardiovascular physicians are trained to perform invasive and non-invasive diagnostic procedures such as cardiac catheterization, echocardiography, holter monitoring, and stress testing. In keeping with the CIC Mission Statement, a clinical research program has been incorporated into the practice with ongoing pharmaceutical, interventional and pacemaker/defibrillator device trials.
