About Us Located in Fort Worth, Texas, Consultants in Cardiology is a partner owned and operated practice. With three fully equipped offices, three satellite clinics, an independent cardiac catheterization lab, two nuclear scanners, exercise treadmills, and a large volume digital echo laboratory, Consultants In Cardiology seeks to keep pace with the rapidly growing population of Fort Worth and Tarrant County. Consultative services are provided at six area hospitals and night coverage at four hospitals. The success of the practice arises from strong teamwork and inclusive decision making. Partner and associate meetings take place monthly. Night and weekend call is divided into two separate hospital rotations to more equally distribute the workload. Coverage by an internist during the week and cardiology fellows on the weekend lightens the night call load. Hospital Affiliations Consultative services are provided at facilities belonging to two hospital systems, Harris Methodist and Baylor Health Systems. Consultants In Cardiology has a strong affiliation with the flagship hospital of the Harris Methodist system. A joint effort between our group and Harris Methodist Fort Worth Hospital led to the opening of The Harris Methodist Heart Center in January 2006. This facility comprises 100 beds with four state-of-the-art interventional labs and four dedicated surgical suites. The City of Fort Worth Fort Worth, Texas, is the 19th largest city in the United States and the heart of Tarrant county, population 1.4 million. Considered one of the most livable cities, Fort Worth is a unique blend of cowboys and culture. Fort Worth hosts both the FW Stock Show and Rodeo and the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition. The Fort Worth Stockyards retains the flavor of the old West; the Cultural district encompasses five museums and the Will Rogers Memorial Center. Many of these museums were designed by leading architects including the Kimball Art Museum by Louis Kahn, the Amon Carter Museum by Philip Johnson, and The Modern Art Museum by Tadao Ando. The Fort Worth Zoo ranks as one of the top 10 best zoos in the United States. Nearby and readily accessible attractions include the Texas Motor Speedway, the Texas Rangers, and the Six Flag Amusement Park. Even the Dallas Cowboys are moving to a new stadium located only twenty minutes away.
