Research As part of Consultants in Cardiology's mission to advance healthcare in Tarrant County, we are actively involved in a number of Food and Drug Administration approved clinical research studies. Partnering with entities such as Harris Methodist Fort Worth Hospital, Medtonic, Novartis, Boehringer Ingelheim, Duke University Cooperative Cardiovascular Studies, and others, Consultants in Cardiology is able to offer medical therapies at the leading edge of cardiovascular medicine. While participation of volunteers in clinical research is vital to the advancement of medicine, entering into a study remains a decision made solely between the patient and his or her physician. Offering ongoing involvement in clinical studies is one approach that Consultants in Cardiology uses to bring the highest level of cardiovascular care to our patients.
